Bargerhof
The original old barn breathes history and nostalgia, and has been standing majestically on her “Barg” (higher land) in the middle of the island for centuries. The church steeples of the nearby villages, De Waal and Oosterend are almost always visible, and on clear days you can even see the sailing masts in Oudeschild.

STRO HOOI VLAS
Our modern holiday cottages are named Stro, Hooi and Vlas (Straw, Hay and Flax). These 3 bedroom cottages are built in a typical Texel style and easily sleep five people. These cosy cottages are comfortable with fully equipped kitchens. Each cottage has an unobstructed view of wide open fields, and has complete privacy.
Riet
Our fourth cottage is named Riet after the authentic thatched roof. This 3 bedroom cottage sleeps six. Again, the kitchen is fully equipped and there are stunning uninterrupted views from every angle.
Futureproof
We see the future in particular “green”! Just like our manager Nieuw Leven Texel, sustainability is very important to us. We have renovated the house of the farmhouse in recent years. We are off the gas there and with geothermal energy we ensure that we keep it warm in the winter. We will generate energy using solar panels to eventually be energy neutral on the entire property.

Texel
Your holiday begins the moment you step onto the boat. Texel is the perfect year-round destination, with something for everyone. From long walks or bike rides, shopping in one of the chic boutiques in the nearby village, or wining and dining at one of the many fantastic restaurants the island has to offer. Each season offers it’s own unique character, forest walks in the crisp autumn air, ice skating in Waalenburg in the winter, seeing nature coming to life in spring or long hot sunny days spent on one of the many beautiful beaches.
